Today’s post comes fresh out of my work office – take that IT department! I can still blog from work. Woo hoo!
As you can tell this is not a dream but my first TEASER. It is from a picture book my friend Jon and I are working on outlining over 101 different fist bumps! Go ahead, amaze your friends. There are 100 more where this came from.
This fist bump is entitled: Pop a Cap in Yo Ass! It is my “go to” fist bump at this time but there are so many more awesome ones to laugh and play around with. There will even be combos for when your mate and you both try to pull off a specific fist bump. Match them up, yo! My friend and I have a blast with these and thought we should put together a book to document them all. This has been a work in progress for a couple of years. This writing stuff is WORK! Let alone trying to be a graphic designer to boot.
Warning: Please understand my friend and I may have much more fun than you do on pulling off a wicked awesome fist bump because we have had much more practice… and typically much more beer! So if you want to have a fist bumping good time try to pull this off the next time somebody puts their fist out there and stay tuned for more. When the book is final we will include links on this blog.
Respect the fist!
Fun fact: By writing this somehow the following tags got suggested: Barack Obama, Hillary Rodham Clinton, and the Eisenhower Executive Office Building… all rip-roaring fist bumpers!!!
How much more beer do you think I will need to pull these off 🙂 Also I would be interested in a blog about what you do with graphic design and if you are planning to do all the illustrations for this book. I am interested in looking at different style for my book… when it is complete.
Sober fist bumps… gooooood. Drunk fist bumps… BETTER!
Actually, I am not a graphic designer. In fact, I’m barely a writer! We are taking pictures of our own fists and using online filtering programs to convert them to their finished product. Then we touch them up using a photo-editor to remove noise from the converting process and adding borders and such to each image. So those are our real fists of fury (mine is the non-hairy arm).
